We currently provide sport competition for 17,000 athletes through 1,500 sports clubs in 150 Ontario communities. More than 7,500 volunteers make it possible to provide our athletes with opportunities to participate in 18 recognized sports. Invitational and Regional Competitions occur frequently, and athletes advance through a regular cycle of Provincial Games to compete in both National and World Games. Provincial Spring, Summer, and Winter competitions are conducted on a four year cycle. Recognized sports are classified into the following seasons:
